Bruce came to Hartford Baptist church in August of
1984 as the minister of music and youth. In 2004, after thirty years of
youth ministry, he felt God leading him in a new direction of ministry.
He currently serves the church as Minister of Music and Adults.
Bruce entered full-time ministry in 1974 and has
served two churches in Alabama and one in Bogalusa, Louisiana. He is a
graduate of Troy State University with a Bachelors degree in Secondary
Music Education and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a
Master’s Degree in Religious Education.
Bruce is married to the former Carol Lolley of
Enterprise, Alabama. They have one son, Joshua, Minister of Music and
Youth at Pepperell Baptist church in Opelika, Alabama. Joshua is married
to Ashley Lynn of Montgomery, Alabama. They have one grand-daughter,
Emma Grace who was born in April of 2008. |
