Chris was born May 18, 1979 in Fort Walton
Beach, FL and was raised in DeFuniak Springs, FL. Married to the former
Crystal Taylor, also of DeFuniak Springs, they have two sons, Andrew and
Luke.
Chris is a graduate of the University of West
Florida, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business with an
Emphasis in Accounting. Currently a student at the Graceville, Florida
Extension Center of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Chris is
pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree.
Prior to coming to Hartford Baptist Church as the
Minister of Youth and Recreation in August of 2008, Chris was very
active as a lay person at Cinco Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach,
Florida. Brother Chris is very passionate about youth ministry and is
excited to be serving at a church that has such a vibrant outreach to
the young people of Hartford and the surrounding area.
In addition to spending time with his family, Chris
also enjoys playing golf and will also be glad to challenge all comers
to a friendly game of ping-pong!
